- School and student data: Student names, grade/class information, emergency contacts, pickup authorizations, and attendance records — provided and managed by the subscribing school.
- Usage data: IP address, device type, browser information, and pages visited within the platform.
- Support data: Messages, emails, and other communications sent to our support team.
- Payment data: Billing information is processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. We do not store full payment card details.
3. How we use your data
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- Contract performance: To provide the GateLynk service, including check-in/check-out tracking, pickup verification, parent notifications, and emergency contact alerts.
- Legitimate interests: To improve platform security, prevent fraud, analyse usage trends, and respond to support requests.
- Legal obligation: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests from authorities.
- Consent: Where required, we will ask for your consent before sending marketing communications.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers: Hosting infrastructure, email delivery, customer support tools, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under strict contractual protections.

- Professional advisers: Legal, accounting, and insurance advisers where necessary.
- Authorities: Where required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it. Schools can request deletion of their data at any time by contacting support.
